Join us for a boat ride on Squam Lake to help collect a water column sample at Moultonborough Bay as part of our summer water-quality monitoring program. We will learn about how the SLA monitors Squam by completing a set of measurements together and then enjoy a lunch on Moon or Bowman Island.

Mt. Morgan Trail, with its renowned peak and ladders, is a favorite among the Crawford-Ridgepole Trail connector routes. But this path is in need of some love and attention from volunteers like you. Join us to help maintain the hiking corridor and prevent erosion on the trail by clearing water bars so we can all continue trekking this one-of-a-kind trail.
The Byers Holtzman Barn is hosting a screening on Wednesday, August 27 at 8:00pm of the Toxic Puzzle, an award-winning documentary that explores the health risks of cyanobacteria in our lakes.
If you love the sun and mother earth you will love this program! We will be hosting a sun printing workshop using leaves, other natural materials, and an acrylic paint solution to print onto 100% cotton or silk materials. We will hold this event at the Squam Lakes Association barn building from 1-4 as a drop in event.
This beaver extravaganza will begin with a brief discussion before we kayak out to the beaver dam in Pipers Cove to explore.
Join us to help clean up Brooks Fisher Trail and a section the Crawford-Ridgepole Trail. We will clear blowdowns and cut back overgrown vegetation to keep the path navigable for hikers as well as prepare the CRT section for the Squam Ridge Race.
