Join us to help maintain the hiking corridor and prevent erosion on the trail by clearing water bars so we can all continue trekking this one-of-a-kind trail.

We will hold this event at the Squam Lakes Association barn building from 1-4 as a drop in event.

Beaver: The Wetland Weaver

This beaver extravaganza will begin with a brief discussion before we kayak out to the beaver dam in Pipers Cove to explore.

Volunteer: Trail Work Day on Brooks Fisher Trail and CRT

Join us to help clean up Brooks Fisher Trail and a section the Crawford-Ridgepole Trail. We will clear blowdowns and cut back overgrown vegetation to keep the path navigable for hikers as well as prepare the CRT section for the Squam Ridge Race.

Botany Bonanza

We will be exploring Homestead Forest trail on a 2.7-mile loop trail that takes you through a variety of terrain, swamp, caves, deciduous forest and conifer forests. Squam Lakes conservation corps member Emma Murray will be leading this hike through this beautiful property maintained by the Lakes Region Conservation Trust.
