Get ready for a big-screen adventure as we kick off National Park Week! Join us at the SLA for an interactive viewing of the 2010 movie Yogi Bear. Join the Squam Lakes Association for a hands-on program where we’ll practice the age-old tradition of knots! We’ll start with the basics, learning both how to tie a knot and its many functions. After practicing, we’ll put our new skills to the test by building a shelter.
Join the Squam Lakes Association for a hands-on bleach printing program. Using leaves and other interesting materials found in the natural environment, we’ll transform old clothes/fabric into unique creations. Join LRCC member Ally Facella on Saturday, June 13, 7:30am - 10:30am at Chamberlain Reynolds Memorial Forest for Songbird Bingo! This program will focus on learning bird identification skills as a group, primarily through sight and sound while filling out a bingo card.
Join Lakes Region Conservation Corps Member Chloe at Squam Lakes Association (SLA) for an arboretum tour and mindfulness workshop.
