(FULL) Lord of the Lakes: Fantasy Mapping Squam
April 11 @ 12:00 pm–2:30 pm

Today's Adventure Ecology
Have you ever wanted to make your own fantasy map? Challenge your drawing skills and make a Middle Earth themed Squam Lake map! Join us at the SLA Saturday April 11th from 12:00 - 2:30 PM to create your masterpiece. Fantasy maps are relatively easy to draw, and can be as simple or as in depth as you want. LRCC member Kevin Jones will be leading this program (with minimal art skills), so don’t worry about being Michaelangelo! All ages are welcome. We will provide art supplies, but feel free to bring your own as well!
This event is free, registration is required. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Location

The Squam Lakes Association is dedicated to conserving for public benefit the natural beauty, peaceful character and resources of the watershed. In collaboration with local and state partners the SLA promotes the protection, careful use and shared enjoyment of the lakes, mountains, forests, open spaces and wildlife of the Squam Lakes Region.
What to bring
Please bring water and any snacks you may need for the duration of the program. Some other things worth considering would be reading glasses, and your own art supplies if you have pens/pencils/erasers that you prefer. We have all the art supplies for this project, so this is totally optional.
