Fall Foliage Hike up Red Hill

We will be hiking Red Hill, a 3.5 mile round trip hike with stunning views of the surrounding lakes and mountains. Enjoy a steep climb with a fall vista that will make all your effort worth the while!

Yoga at the SLA

Squam in Fiber (Felting)

From 2 pm - 4:30 pm on October 4 we will be hosting a felting workshop. We will be out capturing the beauty of Pipers Cove as an introductory lesson or a way to connect with other felters in the area. We will have all the supplies necessary for participation but bring your own if you would like.

Volunteer: Mt. Percival Trail Work Day

Mt. Percival Trail is one of the most iconic hikes in the Squam Range, and we’re calling volunteers to help us maintain it. Join us as we clear waterbars and clean up the trail corridor with a team of AmeriCorp NCCC members that are currently serving at the SLA.

Batty for Bats

Come gather to learn more about the incredible flying mammal in celebration of International Bat Week! We will have a sunset walk at Chamberlain Reynolds Memorial Forest, talk all about bats, and watch for them on the beach at dusk.

Stargazing at Squam

Have you ever wanted to get into stargazing but don't know where to start? Join us at the SLA for an introductory stargazing workshop.

Fall Volunteer Workday

Fall Work Day is a day where SLA staff and community come together to wrap up the SLA campus and campsites for the season.
