Wednesday Winter Hike: Cotton Trail

Join Director of Education, Kyle Salmons, for a mix of gentle hike and steep climb on an out-and-back hike up Cotton Mountain. Start 2025 off with a winter hike up to the summit of the first (or last, depending on your perspective) mountain on the Squam Range. Nestled close to the town of Holderness, Cotton Mountain is the perfect winter hike to get used to steep terrain without the risk of being out in the wilderness.

Wednesday Winter Hike: Chamberlain-Reynolds Memorial Forest Loop

Join Director of Education, Kyle Salmons, on a 2.4 mile loop around Chamberlain-Reynolds Memorial Forest. This is an easy hike with very little elevation gain. It's the perfect opportunity to practice using snow shoes or to put a new pair to the test! Chamberlain-Reynolds Memorial Forest also offers a unique view of the lake in winter from the many coves and beaches along the way.

Cancelled – Wednesday Winter Hike: Livermore Loop

-- This event has been cancelled due to cold temperatures -- Join the Lakes Region Conservation Corps on their first guided hike of the season! Come meet some of our LRCC members and enjoy one of the best lesser known loop hikes in the area. Located just past Burleigh Farm, the Livermore loop offers a fantastic view of the lake and one of the best spots to sip hot cocoa and enjoy a winter lunch on the trail.

Wednesday Winter Hike: Five Finger Point

Join Lakes Region Conservation Corps members on a moderate 3 mile loop around Five Finger Point. Explore each cove and "finger" of this northern piece of Squam Lake. The Fiver Finger Point trail will give you a unique view of the lake from the shores of Squam.
