Guided Hike: Whitten Woods

March 4 @ 10:00 am1:00 pm

Today's Guided Hike:

Come take part in what's sure to be a fun winter hike through Whitten Woods. Diego and fellow LRCC members will lead you on a hike through the Whitten Woods via the North Peak Trail loop. We will meet at the Whitten Woods parking lot to begin our hike. Get ready to enjoy some wonderful scenery on this moderate 2.5 mile long hike. Participants should come prepared with food/water, winter hiking gear, and of course positive energy!

Check out the 'what to bring' section below for more details.

What to bring:

Participants should be sure to have appropriate attire and layering for winter hiking. Extra layers, food/water, water resistant hiking boots, and snowshoes and/or microspikes may be needed depending on conditions. The SLA can provide snowshoes & microspikes if needed. Other snow hiking gear may be available upon request.

Not sure what to pack? Check out our Winter Day Hiking Checklist for some ideas. Feel free to reach out to the SLA with any questions!
