This spring’s story StoryWalk®, The Flower Thief by Alice Hemming with illustrations by Nicola Slater, follows Squirrel as he learns about respecting nature from his forest friends.
Come spring, amphibians will begin migrating from their woodland wintering sites to their breeding grounds which are located in lowland wetlands and vernal pools. One of the dangers for them during this time is crossing roads that cut through these habitats. Join us to watch a webinar about how you can volunteer to help transport these critters safely across the road and record their migration numbers.
