We will be exploring Homestead Forest trail on a 2.7-mile loop trail that takes you through a variety of terrain, swamp, caves, deciduous forest and conifer forests. Squam Lakes conservation corps member Emma Murray will be leading this hike through this beautiful property maintained by the Lakes Region Conservation Trust. By the end of the hike you will be able to identify the trees and other plants that are giving you shade on your hikes. |

From 2 pm - 4:30 pm on October 4 we will be hosting a felting workshop. We will be out capturing the beauty of Pipers Cove as an introductory lesson or a way to connect with other felters in the area. We will have all the supplies necessary for participation but bring your own if you would like. |
