Using the book Reading the Forested Landscape: A Natural History of New England by Tom Wessels, we will have a beautiful fall hike on the moderately difficult 2.7-mile loop trail, and stop at different spots to talk about the history of the land and passages from the book.

Give back to Chamberlain Reynolds Memorial Forest by volunteering with LRCC and NCCC AmeriCorps members for a half day of trail work from 9:00am to 1:00pm! Work involves replacing, rebuilding, and installing bridge and rock structures on wet and muddy sections found throughout the trail network.
Join the LRCC members for a spook-tacular guided hike through Chamberlain-Reynolds Memorial Forest on October 29th from 5:00-7:30 PM. This will be a fun-filled evening hike where participants can choose the path we take through the woods guided by a haunting story at each fork in the trail.
