    FULL – Hooting with the Heart: Owling Chamberlain-Reynolds

    March 7 @ 5:00 pm–7:30 pm

    Spring is just around the corner, and for our feathered friends that means love is in the air. Join us as we hoot from our hearts- attempting to swoon the attention of local owls at Chamberlain Reynolds Memorial Forest on Friday, March 7th at 5:00 pm . This program will contain some fun owl facts, a tutorial on how to call in owls with your voice, and the opportunity to practice on a short 2 mile night hike... We may even see an owl up close!

    The best way to spend Earth Day is outside! Join us for a fun evening viewing of the Lyrid's meteor shower around a warm campfire with s'mores. Chat with neighbors about Earth Day and what it means to you while observing one of the great astronomy events of spring.

    Moth Madness! (FULL)

    Why do moths get a bad rap? While most other pollinators tuck in for the night, moths emerge for the night shift and continue to pollinate after dark. Join us after-hours in the SLA Barn for a brief presentation on moth identification, life cycles, and their importance in our ecosystems.
