Winter has set in and New Hampshire is once again blanketed in snow. Much of the wildlife that flourished in the warmer months is nowhere to be seen, but a stroll in the snow will reveal that there are many furry and feathered residents that stay here all year long! Join the Squam Lakes Association to explore the clues wildlife leave behind as they brave the New Hampshire winter. We will identify animal tracks and signs that can be found throughout the Squam watershed and learn how they can tell us about the health of our watershed! This is a perfect way for people of all ages to enjoy New Hampshire's chilly winter days. |
