Squam Prints: Bleach Painting With Nature
April 29 @ 4:00 pm–6:00 pm

Today's Adventure Art
Join the Squam Lakes Association for a hands-on bleach printing program. Using leaves and other interesting materials found in the natural environment, we’ll transform old clothes/fabric into unique creations. Whether you consider yourself an artist or not, this simple process is accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
The program is open to all, but because we will be working with bleach, bringing small children is not recommended. This event is free, and registration is required. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Location
Squam Lakes Association
This program is at the SLA office in Holderness, off Route 3. Parking is available in our main lot.

What to bring
For today's program, we will have bandanas available for printing. However, you are encouraged to bring your own old clothing or bags (or anything fabric) to upcycle. This process works best on natural materials, including denim, cotton, and linen.
Meet this week's guide
Macie Kane is one of our new Americorps members. She recently graduated from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry with a degree in environmental biology. She loves hiking, rock climbing, and a good sunset. She enjoys sharing her love of nature with others and is excited to share it with you!
When she's not outside, you can find her under a cozy blanket reading or crafting.
