March 23 @ 10:00 am–1:00 pm

Today's Adventure Ecology:
Join LRCC members Emma Murray and Sydney Paradise at the Squam Lakes headquarters on March 23, 2025 for a drop in event from 10-1 to make your own birdfeeders and learn about proper bird feeding etiquette. Materials and birdseed will be provided but if you have your own recyclables or china that need a new life feel free to bring them in.
The lakes region is such a good spot for bird watching and feeding so it is common to see bird feeders in everyone’s yard. This is an opportunity to come snag some birdseed for your own garden and learn about why, how and when we feed wild animals. At the SLA we enjoy all types of recreation are try to involve the public as much as possible. For people who can’t often get out to Squam lake this would be a great way to recreate in your own backyard.
All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by adults.
