Because of the long winter he Maple Sugar Open House in Sandwich NH is RESCHEDULED for Sunday April 6th

Register for this event, grab the family and join the SLA staffer Brian Gagnon and the White’s Forest Farm for a day of traditional Maple Sugaring in beautiful Sandwich NH! The White’s sugaring operation is nothing short of traditional, utilizing sap buckets tapped into their own Sugar Maples. The operation is complete with a wood-fired evaporator. Come and sample some classic northcountry flavors and traditons.     

The Whites’ Forest Farm is a permanently-conserved, forested tract surrounding the Whites’ homestead, consisting of saphouse and sugarbush, dwelling, barn, bandmill, icehouse, vegetable gardens, and outbuildings. This owner-designed and built homestead, uses fieldstones for foundations, trees from the property or nearby for all lumber used in the house with the owners having both logged and milled all their own material.

Note - The long driveway will not permit two cars to pass, you may choose to park at the end of the driveway where there is ample parking, and enjoy the walk in. Bring your winter boots!

Located at: 150 Middle Road,  Sandwich, NH 03259  About 2 ¾ miles northeast of Center Sandwich along Rt 113 and Middle Road. the Whites live at the end of a ¾ mile-long driveway at 148/150 Middle Road, Sandwich NH. Signs will direct you to the saphouse and to parking.
