2022 Postcards from Camp!

Throughout the summer the Junior Squam Lakes Association (JSLA) environmental camp leaders share glimpses into camp life by writing a postcard from camp. Below is an excerpt from the July 20th postcard. 

"Today, we learned about plants and animals that live in the Piper Cove of Squam Lake. We learned about bladderwort, a native free-floating carnivorous plant that lives in the shallows and eats microscopic creatures in the water. We also learned about algae, and lily pads...."
