2017 Squam Ridge Race Results, Highlights, and Pictures!

It was a spectacular day, which raised over $22,000 for our continued trail work on over 50 miles of trails around the Squam watershed, as well as an additional $5,000+ in food and raffle donations for event participants. Thank you to all of our participants, volunteers, landowners, and sponsors who made this event possible!

Over 200 people were in attendance from all over New England and beyond to participate in the race or hike, or to just enjoy the day as part of the SLA community. There were 127 racers entered the 12.2 mile course, and an additional 19 competed in the 4 mile hike. Racers and hikers ranged in age from 6-76 years old, and many participated as a family group. We had a record-breaking win on the 12.2 mile course from a Holderness resident who crossed the finish line in 1 hour and 41 minutes, which was incredible to see! Both serious athletes and hikers of all ages had a fantastic time and enjoyed delicious food, great music, and an exciting raffle.

We hope to see you at the next SLA event! On behalf of all of our amazing racers, and from everyone at the Squam Lakes Association, we thank you!
