Leigh Ann became the SLA Director of Education in April 2018. She received her Wildlife Biology degree from the University of Montana and after working seasonal biological technician jobs for a few years decided to see if environmental education was a good fit. After being a naturalist at Glen Helen Outdoor Center in Yellow Springs, OH she knew that teaching was in her future. Leigh Ann received her MEd in Elementary Education from Antioch University and hasn't looked back since. In her free time she can be found backpacking, paddle boarding, cross country skiing, or just relaxing along the shores of Squam Lake.
