SUMMARY:Spring Cleaning
DESCRIPTION:Today's Adventure Ecology:\n\nPollinator gardens provide crucial habitat for declining pollinators\, join us to learn more and help beautiful our spaces. On April 20 we will meet at the headquarters and get to work on the gardens from 10 am - 12 pm. In the past\, we have planted many native flowers and shrubs and would love to reclaim that area again this year. We will be using trowels\, shovels\, our hands\, and hoes to weed and clear out some trailing nightshade vines that have taken over parts of the gardens. As well as weeding\, we will stake out potential locations for the new plants we are getting in early May.Pollinator gardens are helping save declining insect populations. They provide food\, shelter\, and water for native pollinators that would otherwise be struggling. Pollinators are important for many aspects of the environment and keep the food chain in balance for not only animals but also humans. Nearly every three bites are made possible by pollination. Come give back your time in a positive\, meaningful way while learning about native plants. All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by adults.\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Register now\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\nWhat to bring\n\nWe might get muddy so bring clothes that you are prepared to get dirty.
