SUMMARY:Arboretum Planting
DESCRIPTION:SLA Objective:\n\nWe will be planting 22 fruit and nut trees to fully designate our campus as a Level 1 ArbNet certified arboretum. We will have an Indigenous tree walk\, an edible orchard walk\, a native NH tree walk\, and fun stuff for kids of all ages once we are finished. We hope that these additions will make our campus more inviting to curious visitors and lifetime devotees\, We would love your help to get started with the planting and to create an informational podium. We have other long-term volunteer opportunities to offer as well if Arborculture interests you! If you are curious about tree planting\, tree pruning\, edible orchards\, native NH plants\, or anything tree-related\, feel free to stop by to learn and lend a helping hand. \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Volunteer with us!\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\nReTreeUs\n\nTo obtain our certification\, we will be partnering with a local agency\, ReTreeUS. Their mission is to inspire generations of food growers\, environmental stewards\, and problem solvers through experiential education in orchards and gardens. They have kindly offered us their expertise in all things arboretum. \n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\nLocation\n\nSquam Lakes Association\n\nSLA Campus\n\n\n\nSquam Lakes Association\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n 534 US Route 3Holderness\, NH 03245
