SUMMARY:Yoga at the SLA
DESCRIPTION:Today's Adventure Ecology:\n\nWe will be exploring Homestead forest trail on a 2.7 mile loop trail that takes you through a variety of terrain\, swamp\, caves\, deciduous forest and conifer forests. Squam Lakes conservation corps member Emma Murray will be leading this hike through this beautiful property maintained by the Lakes Region Conservation Trust. By the end of the hike you will be able to identify the trees and other plants that are giving you shade on your hikes. We will learn techniques you can use anywhere in the world to identify trees and be able to identify some native New Hampshire species. We will also see some smaller flowering plants like shrubs\, ferns\, flowers and moss. Join us for a fun adventure in botany. All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by adults.\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Register now\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\nWhat to bring\n\nParticipants should have variable weather hiking gear and be prepared for rain or shine. My name is Emma Murray and I’m a recent graduate of SUNY ESF College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse\, New York.
