SUMMARY:A BAT-ty Celebration
DESCRIPTION:This week's program\n\nJoin the SLA on Saturday\, August 23rd for a guided hike of Five Finger Point along the shoreline of Squam Lake. Five Finger Point trail is an easy 2.7 mile loop trail with several beaches and waterfront views to explore. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch to enjoy by the water together and\, weather permitting\, go for a swim in the lake.We will meet at the parking lot located on Pinehurst Road in Holderness\, NH\, 0.7 miles from NH-113 and 70 yards beyond the entrance to Rockywold Deephaven Camps. We will meet at 10:00 AM and return around 1:00 PM. I developed a deep love for nature by growing up spending my time in the woods and lakes of NH; hiking\, day dreaming\, and looking for wildlife. Travel\, experiential learning\, and service based learning have greatly influenced my education and interests. I am excited to be back in my beautiful home state to learn more about lake conservation while helping to teach the public about all things ecology.
