Volunteer with Lakes Region Conservation Corps members for a half day of trail work from 9:00am to 1:00pm! We will focus on removing blowdowns, clearing branches that encroach within the trail corridor, brushing in portions of the trail where the path is unclear, and checking blazes along the way.
Challenge yourself to a climb on the LRCC's very last guided hike of the season! We’ll begin our trek at historic Mead Base on the southern slope of Mt. Israel, then ascend the two-mile Wentworth Trail to its summit, where we’ll enjoy beautiful views of the Sandwich Range before heading back down.

Start 2025 off with a winter hike up to the summit of the first (or last, depending on your perspective) mountain on the Squam Range. Nestled close to the town of Holderness, Cotton Mountain is the perfect winter hike to get used to steep terrain without the risk of being out in the wilderness.

Join longtime Salamander Crossing Brigade coordinator Brett Amy Thelen to discover the magic of Big Night — and to learn how community scientists in the Granite State are coming together to help migrating amphibians survive the most dangerous journey of their lives.

It's the perfect opportunity to practice using snow shoes or to put a new pair to the test! Chamberlain-Reynolds Memorial Forest also offers a unique view of the lake in winter from the many coves and beaches along the way.

Located just past Burleigh Farm, the Livermore loop offers a fantastic view of the lake and one of the best spots to sip hot cocoa and enjoy a winter lunch on the trail.
