DESCRIPTION:Today's Adventure Hike:\n\nCome join the SLA at on Earth Week celebration hike at Whitten Woods  at 10:30am – 12:30pm  time on April 27th\, LRCC member Sydney Paradise will lead this  peaceful hike. We will stop at the top to to engage in a guided journaling activity. This will be a great way to continue celebrating Earth Day and reflect on what services the Earth provides us. The hike is a gradual 2.0 mile round trip to the summit of South Peak. Earth Day is a great reminder to take a moment of appreciation for what the environment provides us and build community around that. This program will provide the opportunity to hike in group and build community. We will then spend time reflecting on how we can carry the sentiments of Earth day without us through the season and the rest of the year. Participants should come prepared for variable spring hiking conditions with extra layers\, waterproof gear\, and pen and paper. All ages are welcome.
