SUMMARY:Full Moon Hike: Whitten Woods FULL
DESCRIPTION:Today's Guided Hike:\n\nCome join Hunter and Miranda in celebrating the last full moon of winter! This will be a moderately difficult 1.8 mile hike up South Peak by the light of the full moon. We will meet at the Whitten Woods parking lot at 7:15 on March 14th to begin our hike. As we hike we will discuss this month’s full moon\, the Worm Moon\, and the importance of full moons. The March full moon will also be a total solar eclipse so we will also explain how solar eclipses happen and how that effects what we see. Hopefully\, we will have a clear viewing night for these solar events. Participants should come prepared with headlamps and winter hiking gear - check out the 'what to bring' section below for more details. All ages are welcome. Children must be accompanied by adults.\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n Join the Waitlist\n\n \n \n \n\n \n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\n \n \n	\n\n\n\n\nWhat to bring\n\nParticipants should be sure to have appropriate attire and layering for winter hiking. SUMMARY:Wednesday Winter Hike: Chamberlain-Reynolds Memorial Forest Loop
