DESCRIPTION:Today's Adventure Ecology:\n\nOn Saturday\, October 4\, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm\, the Squam Lakes Association (SLA) will be hosting an art program where we will be teaching and learning new strategies of felting together. We will be looking out at Pipers Cove and trying to capture the landscape. We will hold this program rain or shine. If it turns into a beautiful\, wet fall day\, we’ll move inside to our great room.Squam Lake is beautiful in every form. Come capture the landscape with us this fall by felting. We will have an introductory workshop on all things felting. Lakes Region Conservation Corps member Emma Murray will lead this deep dive into fiber. We will provide all necessary materials; register early as participation is limited. This event will take place at the Squam Lakes Association (SLA) main building\, looking out at Piper's Cove. I just graduated with a degree in Environmental Biology and applied my love of silviculture to get a minor in Forestry.
