This 12.2-mile race and hike takes you along the stunning Squam Range, offering incredible views of Squam Lake and the surrounding watershed. Whether you're racing or hiking, it's an unforgettable way to support a great cause and experience the beauty of the region.
Want to enjoy some beautiful fall foliage while learning about why and how our trees perform this magical annual ritual? Join us Saturday, October 3rd, from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Red Hill Fire Tower Trailhead for a gorgeous hike and learn all about our deciduous trees. Prepare for a 5.1 mile hike appreciating and investigating the forest before a short lecture at the summit. Bring a lunch, as we will be taking a break at the top. Take the opportunity to view 360° peak foliage from the fire tower before heading back down.
Join Diego and the LRCC for an autumn adventure exploring how native squirrels act as master forest planters by hiding and forgetting seeds. Fun games and crafts for the whole family to enjoy!
