Instructions for Gifts of Securities
The Squam Lakes Association is a non-profit conservation organization that was issued a ruling by the Internal Revenue Service in August 1955 granting exemption from Federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is the policy of the Squam Lakes Association to immediately liquidate securities upon receipt unless otherwise specified. Gifts of securities are accepted and information for transferring securities is as follows.
